Genuine XPEL aftercare

The products we use in the bay, sold over the counter. Using the wrong chemistry on film or a coating is one of the few ways to undo a good installation, so we would rather you bought the right thing.

Prices are XPEL South Africa's recommended retail, shown so you know roughly what to expect, and confirmed when you order. There is no online checkout — clicking a product opens an email to us, and orders are settled on collection or before courier.

Worth knowing

What not to use on a protected car

  • Household glass cleaner on tinted glass. Ammonia attacks tint adhesive. It is the single most common way people ruin a good tint job.
  • Anything abrasive on film. Cutting compounds and polishes containing abrasives will haze the self-healing topcoat permanently.
  • Automated brush washes. They drag grit across the paint and lift film edges. A brush wash undoes a coating faster than sun does.
  • High pressure aimed at film edges. Keep the lance back and off the perimeter, and nothing lifts.
