Worth knowing
It is glued to the rubber, not stuck on
- The tyre has to be clean and dry. Tyre Prep strips the release agents and silicone dressings that stop adhesive bonding — dressed tyres are the usual reason lettering lifts.
- Letter height is limited by sidewall height. A low profile tyre will not take 35mm letters. If you are unsure, send the tyre size with your design and we will tell you what fits.
- It is permanent. This is not a vinyl sticker — removal means cutting it off the sidewall, so pick the mark you actually want.
- Fitment is done here. Collect or book the car in at the Beyers Park workshop; we fit what you design.
